Hayleys Energy Services Lanka (Pvt) Limited (HES) is a joint venture between Hayleys Advantis Limited and Edgo Merap Limited. HES provides support services to the oil and gas exploration and development activities.
The venture brings together the combined resources and synergies of Hayleys Advantis, one of the region’s most significant marine services and transport logistics businesses, and the infinite expertise in oil and gas exploration of Edgo Merap, (part of the Edgo Group - www.edgo.com) in a new business entity seeking to provide support services for and participate in the oil and gas exploration and production activities anticipated in Sri Lanka and overseas locations over the next few years.
The partners in this joint venture both have long and well established histories and originated just two years apart, Edgo in 1956 as one of the first privately-owned engineering companies in the Middle East, and Hayleys Advantis in 1958 as the Shipping Division of Hayleys Limited.
